OT - LOTR 3 by
Kim E
WOW!!!!
Fabulous movie. Well worth the 3 1/2 hours. I don't think more than
a handful of people even left to use the toilet (although the rest
rooms were PACKED as soon as the movie let out!!)
However, when Frodo and Sam put the orc armor on, my first thought was
"Aren't you a little short for...

OT (very): Carpet fresh and wheezing by
unclbennie
I wheezed once, several years ago after being around a dog that was
shedding alot. My doctor gave me an inhaler and I have kept refilling
the prescription because wheezing is no fun. Never had to use the
inhaler since the dog.... until my DH used carpet fresh, I have been
wheezing for three...

Nel's Mighty Whorlitzer! And other relevant items... by
Kate Dicey
New Year at Nel's house is... Different! No-one does a non-party quite
like Nel! The house has large rooms and odd corners, and is perfect for
what other's would call a House Party, but Nel refers to as a Gathering,
because she hates parties! There is a long-term friendship group
involved here,...

The old Wards sewing machine by
georg
Ward is a 1949 Model #30. He needs a new cord, but my DH fixed it enough
to work. I had feared I broke it last time I used it, trying figure out
how to thread it.
But today I dug out the manual, and the machine, and set myself down to
play. The rubber wheel for winding the bobbin is a wee on the...

Electric Quilt 4 by
Christina
Hi,
Does anyone have the program EQ4 for sale? Maybe you bought the new EQ5 and
no longer need the EQ4?
I can't afford the EQ5, but thought I might be able to find an old version.
Thanks,

pattern question by
Natalie
I'm not sure I 100% understand about patterns for quilt blocks. ...
Are they really necessary or just a nice tool? Couldn't a person just
figure out the measurements on their own?
(Make sense?)
Thanks a bundle!

I'm thinking of adding quilts (completed ones, not custom ones for now) to
the store. (See link below...)
What is the "going rate" of quilts? I'm just trying to figure out how to
price them, and what I should think of charging for them. DH thinks it's an
awesome idea after seeing the quilt I did...

QuiltingCrafting shops_sites in Chicago by
KinakoMochi
Hi,
I'm planning a trip to Chicago beginning of March and was wondering if
there are any nice quilt shops, textile museums, or craft sites in the
city. I won't have car and will be staying near the Mile.
Thanks :)
