Passap Duomatic 80 by
PhatSheep
Hello
I am thinking of buying a passap duomatic 80 (one of the green ones) along
with a footcontrolled motor. I already have a brother KH881 which is pretty
tempremental and I'm hoping this machine will enable me to knit more
efficiently.
I would really appreciate any feedback anybody can give...

Killing Cotton by
[email protected]
Hi Everyone,
I'm hoping someone can help me with this. I picked up a cone of 100%
cotton at a thrift store, it's a lovely seafoam color and wanted to
use it for dishcloths or something similar. It's biasing. Badly.
Parallelograms just don't make nice, neat looking dishcloths. LOL.
I've tried...

Hi All
I was wondering if someone can help me. I am a knitwear designer/producer
and I have been asked to produce some designs with alpaca yarn. The lady who
has asked me has her own alpacas and would dearly like to have the yarn hand
spun. I have never ever done spinning in my life but would love...

Hello all,
I retrieved this old machine from the loft today, together with its
KR-230 ribber with the intention of shipping it to a friend in Eastern
Europe who would make good use of it.
Can't find the manuals anywhere though. Is there a chance that I might
be able to get a photocopy...

Rug Yarn by
Cheryl
I was referred to this NG as a possible source of expertise. I hope someone
can help.
I have a rug making machine that is not unlike a knitting machine to
operate. Unfortunately the only rug-making yarn I can find is precut into
short lengths for hand knotting using a latch-hook.
Does anyone...

FreeCycle - Good Source for Machine Knit Stuff by
[email protected]
Hi everyone,
If you're not connected up with your local freecycle group, you SHOULD
be! I realized after going through and sorting emails over the past 6
or 8 months, that I'd had 5 freebies from folks in the Reno/Sparks
area that were machine knit related. One was for a small box of
machine...
