ATTN: Julie in Rochester, MN by
Kate G.
Julie --
It was so great to meet you. I really enjoyed talking with you. I wish I
had more time -- but as one of 5 on the show committee... I had to keep
moving.
I would love to hear your critique of the show. I'm not looking for praise
here -- but would really appreciate any constructive...

old quilt still holding up......... by
CNYstitcher
haven't found any identifying makers marks on it yet, though. It went
through the gentle cycle this afternoon and seems to have done okay (it
has been washed before, *always* on teh gentle cycle...at least since
I've had it at my house). I am hoping that I'll have it all taken out
of the baby...

Hi! Quilters. Our Guild held their annual quilt show at the Holiday
Inn this weekend. I do hope some of you attended. I think this
committee did a great job of presenting the quilts. I loved the fact
that there were an overwhelming number of traditional patterned quilt
the angles, stars and...

OT - Posting problems by
CPI \(Aprshowers @ work\)
Well come to find out my local ISP, TDS.net, is having problems posting to
other news servers outside of theirs. I can see my post at home, but it
doesn't show up in Google, Freenet, or my work ISP, Localaccess.com. Called
TS and had to explain it to them. Geeze how stupid can they be! I spent...

OT Much ado about muffin by
earthmagic
Thanks to everyone who helped me with my muffin crisis. I came to the
conclusion that the muffin tin is too big for my small electric stove. The
element is on the bottom, and the hot air was trapped. At least that's what
I reckon, because today I made some good muffins in the wood stove,...

The best laid plans of mice and men.... sigh Well I didn't make it
to the American Sewing Expo over the weekend. Believe me I did my best
to get there. I was even within a mile of the expo center and time was
not on my side so we had to just drive by and I waved as we passed the
convention...

What a find! I bought for $1.00 (+tax) a 16" Ironing board. It's the
perfect size for my Clover Mini-Iron. Went shopping Saturday and DD told
me to buy it with my 50% coupon. I love it! My big iron just about died,
thanks to DH he fixed it. Time to put Big Ironing board back in closet.
