Can Wonder Under be bad? by
Nann Hilyard
I don't mean behavior! I've discovered fabric bowls and promptly went
through my supply of Wonder Under. I bought 2 yards yesterday which wasn't
much, just enough to work on the two bowls I want to finish.
I cut the 12" squares and fused them to the bowl fabric. The webby stuff
melted unevenly,...

A young person of my aquaintance needs a quilt.
Since he is a huge Studio Ghibli fan I am doodling Castle in the Air

Trick block except for the middle square. Make...

OT Hugs to Polly Esther's DSIL and DD by
Polly Esther
from Dianne and Bruce to so very many warm-hearted wonderful rctq folks:
First we were clobbered by Hurricane Katrina. An awful lot of what we owned
was flooded or simply washed away. More than 3 months later, the
destruction of Katrina continues. Mighty oaks and the supporting beams in
some...

Magic Christmas Stocking to make by
She in PA
Some lady at our guild showed us this. You layer all your fabric and batting
, cut with a rotary cutter and sew around. Then you turn it twice and you
have it done except for putting on the cuff. It is all in how you lay the
layers. Here it is. You could make them Christmas Eve if you needed...

On becoming a Quilt Teacher by
TwinMom
Oh friends, I am SO excited!! I've decided to share my talents up here in
the PNW. With the littlest in school a few days a week, I figured it's time
to share what I know. I've been teaching friends at guild and retreats, and
I've taught computer classes before, to absolute beginners, so I'm hoping...

I stopped at the Viking area at my JoAnn's yesterday (the lovely ladies
remembered Sofia even if they hadn't seen her for a while, name and all,
of course she was wearing another hand knit sweater I made for her and
they had commented about the previous one so that helped). Back on
topic: I asked...

Frappr Map Admin by
Frank Reid
Okay, I'm not a normal member of this group. I would like to had the admin
over to someone. Doesn't need to be horribly technical, just moderately so.
Also, someone that gets along with everyone and is on the group a lot.
There are a lot of things you can do with Frappr. It just needs to...

OT a Katrina Christmas by
Polly Esther
The meeting was yesterday. What to do about there being 10,000 children
represented with angels on the Christmas tree that needed lots and wouldn't
be getting much. All of them - yes, all have been taken care of by good
neighbors in faraway places.
How wonderful.
And then - we received a message...

batiks/hand-dyed fabric at a *really* good price? I want as much
