creative juices flowing again by
off kilter [email protected]
Well, I started working on DHs Mariner's Compass finally :-) I have
the central medallion almost all done - it's fusible applique, but it
was loads of fun to play with. Maybe next time, I will do a pieced
MC, who knows sigh.
I am stitching all of the bits and pieces down, having discovered...

For the dog lovers by
John
Dear God: Why do humans smell the flowers, but Â*seldom, if ever, smell
one another?

Dear God: Â*When we get to heaven, can we sit on your couch? Or is it
still the same Â*old story?

Dear God: Â*Why are there cars named after the jaguar, the cougar, the
mustang, the Â*colt, the stingray,...

OT and ON-I need spring not snow-even in Alaska by
steve
Okay, I've really had enough. I got up this morning and there was a good
eight inches of snow. I know that I live in Alaska, but this is unusual
even for the Anchorage area. I really did not need treacherous roads this
morning for my commute to school. There is no grass showing again. ...

Old Sewing Machine by
Kate T.
I told you ladies about my neighbor and her old New Home Sewing
machine and thanks to you all I finally found a manual for it on the
net.
Printed the manual and read it. what fun.
The thing that caught my eye was about skipped stitched. Dull
needles.
Although the SM was purchased in 1911 it was...

AliceW
I checked the mileage from my hotel in Salt Lake City and I am close to
Sandy. There are several quilt shops there. Can anyone recommend the best
one to visit? I will be in SLC until April 30th so I think I can find a few
quilt and bead shops in the area but someone had recommended the shop...

On and OT by
Susan Torrens[_2_]
First, would the person looking for a mini quilt fabric for a dollhouse
please contact me? After a computer meltdown we had to reformat the hard
drive, so I have lost the info.
Just spent the past several days re-doing the computer. Most of the
necessary things are up and running, but quite a bit...

I went to check the mail today, since it is so gorgeous, went for a

of she wanted to check the mail.
She said yes, so we went ( the mail gets checked about every 2 weeks
around our house LOL)!
I pulled out one hand addressed...

DP template size?? by
dogmom
Grrr. *Thought* I knew what I was doing. My unfinished Drunkard's Path block
is 6 3/4. Finished--6 1/4. I thought the insert would be 4 1/2" and I would
cut out 4 1/4. Now --now that I've cut into my gorgeous midnight blue
batik--it's being grumpy. Sewed more creases in that poor block than I...
