Hiya - Back in June, I had the ambition of cleaning out some of the scrap heap, and I offered to send an armful to any takers. Well.. I only had one taker AAANNND... my ambition was beyond my free time at that time. So, TONIGHT I am just getting around to culling the scrap heap. So I thought...

RCTQ BOM Pattern Help needed ( math) by Christina in Ok
I forget what 2-3/8" and 3-7/8 is on the ruler (really just the 3/8 & 7/8 on the ruler) I am thinking that the 3/8" is 3 dots from the 3 inch line and the 7/8 would be 7 dots from the 3 inch line. Does this make any since at all?

Due to circumstances beyond my control... I have to pin a sleeve on a quilt for a show. The sleeve is a tube. Do I pin along both the top and bottom, same frequency of pins? What frequency? Distance from the top of the quilt? Any other hints?

Itsy-bitsy, teeny-tiny.... by Sandy Foster
Some of you may remember that I recently began hand piecing Quilted Diamonds from Linda Franz's second book. Part of the time while I was worrying about DT and DBIL the past few days, I was working on one of those blocks. This little 4" x 7" diamond block has *45* pieces!! Yikes! Forty of those are...

Why should one change the presser foot? I am exploring my machine more and I have recently moved away from quilting into fabric bowls. For the bowls you need t satin stictch (as far as I can tell, just a tight zig zag stitch) My manual (from my 1965 machine) suggests that I have been given a...
