Stash Storage by
Suzanne
Now that I'm finally beginning to build up a stash, I need to figure
out how to store everything. Though I've found many storage things in
magazines and online, it's hard for me to make up my mind what's best
for me. So I'm hoping people here can give me some ideas by telling me
what you have...

Didja ever.... by
Maureen Miller
Here's the question of the hour. Did you ever want to stitch a 'must
have' that just hasn't been charted yet? It's when you see that
perfeect rose or the perfect pet pose that would have made the most
awesome chart. For me the charts would be too numerous to list, let
along stitch in one...

problem with quilting, but I...

When to wash with beads? by
John Quinn
Hi All,
I am telling myself that I will finish the stocking I'm working on for
DW for this Christmas. The end is in sight for the stitching and I'm
about to start the backstitching. I've decided to replace the 300-400
french knots with beads. Which brings up my question, do I wash the
piece...

Sampler Tradition Question by
Caryn
I'm wizzing thru my first ever traditional sampler. And I have a question
about how to personalize it properly.
There are three open areas to be personalized, and having three girls it only
makes sense to put their initials and years of birth in those. I want to
include myself and Dude as well,...

Can Someone Please Tell Me... by
Majmoxie
Okay. I finished crocheting my DD's poncho yesterday. Now I'm looking for the
lap rug I've been slowly working on for a few years. I thought it was in my big
covered Longaberger basket, but no dice.
Can someone please tell me where I put it in my fit of organizing last
spring????

Ending off by
Caryn
As I was ending off a thread I got to thinking about why I end it off where I
do. I, without much conscious thought, tend to weave it thru in the row below
where I just stitched. I like to have the top row available for next thread to
be anchored in.
Like I said, I just do it without thinking,...

CATS - Filet Lace by
Alison
Dianne - I wish you had been at CATS this year. I took a class on
Filet Lace that would have been just up your alley. I was confused
before this class - I thought of filet lace as a withdrawn
thread/needle weaving technique. Actually that's an imitation of the
original which is done on a knotted...

Finds at the Library Book Sale by
Cheryl Isaak
I happened to make it to the library today and found the book sale room
open.
For $2 total, I got
In Splendid Detail by Catherine Reurs
Glorious Needlepoint by Kaffe Fasset
Both are eye candy, but the designs are charted so I could do cross stitch
from them.

Looking for.......... by
Ok, I need your help. I'm trying to locate 2 charts I lost in the fire.
I've searched everywhere I can think of (including E-bay daily). I'll give
a description of each below.
1. A basket of fruit with a great border. It was a kit ordered from the
Stitchery in 1996.
2. A wedding sampler chart...

Anchor Perle Twist? by
Threaded
Greetings All -
Has anyone else experienced a noticeable twist with
Anchor #5 perele? I'm doing a hardanger piece with
Vienna cloth (probably the problem there, too), and
it seems that I have to slightly slant the piece in order
for it to look straight. I've never encountered the problem,
but...
