Taking a Break From Quilting by [email protected]
Hello All, I am taking a break from quilting as I just finished a 3 1/2 inch squares sewn in rows quilt top. Think I had thirty rows of these and these are really colorful quilts because of all the pretty fabrics left over from making other quilts. Got rid of a lot of fabric this way. I took...

Heat n bond question? by [email protected]
You can buy this heat and bond at Wal-mart as I use it all the time. You apply it to the back of the fabric, then heat it with an iron, pull off paper and then applique it. Don't think it would work for turning under but works good for blanket stitch or zig zag. Sandy$

1 Fish, 2 Fish (quilt top from hell) by [email protected]
First off let me say that I would not wish this pattern on anyone. Number one the instructions for 3 different sizes which are hard to understand what they are saying or I am getting senile. laughing here. When you look at the cover picture you can tell the quilt is all on point. Everything is cut...

At long last I think I have discovered you again. When the group started switching to Facebook I didn't go along. I figure the world knows enough about me without showing my face on Facebook. But I have missed the many friends made through this group in the old dial-up connection days. My how...

OT Moving by Night Mist
Well we got all our stuff moved, though we are far from organized yet. We did not clean the old place as much as we would have liked because the plumbing went from bad to worse and we had to turn the water off to avoid flooding and electrocution and badness. The horrible couch and matching chair...

Trouble with the tension disks by [email protected]
My thread gets stuck tightly between the tension disks and then breaks. It was sewing just fine off the quilting frame and I was using embroidery thread. On the frame it's all the time. Changed the needle, oiled the machine and I'm using the same thread as before. Ant answers?
