hmm....... crown jewels coming my way by
Karen, Queen of Squishies
Some very beautimous jewels have begun showing up at my house. Methinks
there is something to this "retired - and loving it" phrase I've seen around
here. Me also thinks that being retired from the Hug list is developing
into a crowning jewel of a project. Ohhhh....... I can just picture this...

gadgets and projects.

HMS Daring complete with wake by
ed
Here it is in all its glory awaiting stretching:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/12554259@N07/2319032366/
I have to say the wake is my personal, most disliked part of the quilt. Done
with muslin and never to be touched again until stretched in a week or so.

HMS Daring Quilt by

Because I am making a quilt of a ship's superstructure the pieces of it will
have to be fairly exact. To say the least my male sewing is not that small.
:-)))
Sue has ben showing me a technique with freezing paper that will ensure my
edges are strictly upheld to. ;-))
Hope to send a few...

Ho Ho Ho by
Polly Esther
Just came in the mail yesterday - a gorgeous, gorgeous (excuse me while I
have a minor fit here) collection of Christmas holiday fabric. When I opened
it, the top one looked like velvet. I wondered how I could have been so
careless as to order a velvet. It is not. But it is so beautiful it...

Hobb's UPCs by
Jill Pochik
Hello Everyone,
I'm looking for your help once again. I've been using tons of batting
this summer and I've discovered that I'm running low on Hobb's UPCs,
which I need to order charity batting from them.
I understand that we're expecting to have a very bad winter and the
animals will need even more...

it yet? How did you like it? Where did you find it? Full of questions,
aren't I? ;)

Hobbs Charity Program?? by
Jill Pochik
Someone mentioned that Hobbs has a program for charities to get batting
from them with UPC labels. Does anyone know about this program or where
I could find out information about it?
I use lots and lots of batting for the animal rescue quilts and could
always use a discount.
Thanks for the...

Hobbs Poly Down by
Flossy
Ive always used Hobbs cotton batting but have recently been advised to
use Hobbs polydown for a crib quilt. Does anyone have any comments
regarding using a poly batting rather than cotton?

Hobbs UPC ???? by
MoragP
i just bought a queen size batting but I don't remember who collects the UPC
symbols for animal quilts. Help me out here, please.
The batting was 50% off at Joann's today so I might go back and get another
tomorrow. No coupon necessary.

Hobbs UPCs by
Jill -Critter Comforts
Hi All,
Thanks for all your help and support this year! Your fabric, batting
and UPCs have helped more than you could ever know.
It has been a very bad year here in Michigan for the people and
especially for the animals. I'll write more about that after the
holidays.
If anyone has UPCs from...
