A few of you wanted to see how the divided binding, I described in an

Bobbie Sews More
Son's eyes are slowly improving after his surgery. He says he can gradually
see more and more light in the last eye that was operated on. He hopes to
eventually be able to drive again. Right now his wife drives him to work
and thankfully he is able to see well enough for a part time job. ...

Border question by
TerriLee in WA \(state\)
I'm working a pieced border for the back of a quilt. Do the top/bottom
borders have to be the same width as the side borders? Will it look funny
if they are different? Opinions, please. (I hate math!!)

Aha quilting moments by
Kathy Applebaum
KJ's post about her "aha!" moment with measuring borders got me thinking.
What's a quilting aha moment you've had (that you're willing to confess to)?
We might all learn something. :)
Mine was that the quilt police would not come and arrest me if I drew on my
ironing board cover. I took a fine...

Super easy lap quilor baby qulit by
She in PA
NO MEASURING OR PINNING. You need flannel and polar fleece. The flannel will
be narrower then the polar fleece. Cut your flannel to the size you want the
quilt. Make sure you square it up. Lay your flannel on top of your polar
fleece and cut it around 2" bigger then you fleece. Take your fleece...

Quilt blocks up for grabs! by
Leslie & The Furbabies in MO.
About ten years ago, I designed a large sampler quilt for my guild to
make one section every month for a year. I have the blocks I made to
test the patterns and I'll NEVER do anything with these blocks. They
are very colorful and based on "country" themes- but not really
"country" type fabric...
