TLS vs Kato Liquid Polyclay by

TLS vs Kato Liquid Polyclay
I was wondering about pros and cons or particular reasons/uses of one
instead of the other... (did that make sense?) Somewhere I read that the
Kato is more clear but rubbery when cured.
And while I'm at it :) I've been using Fimo for the most part and really
like it...

Free Web Pages by
Ray
Hi all,
I just started The Mall of Crafters and I am trying to build up my
Crafters list by giving webpages away FREE for one year to different
polymer clay artists. I want the site to look good and well rounded in
crafts so I am giving some sites away to attract others who will be
willing to pay...

Question about earrings and weight by
Martha
Hi all, I have a question about earring weight, or lack thereof. I've made
some cute earrings but the clay is so light when baked (specifically Premo)
that fish hook or French wires lift right out of the ear. I know I can get
those little rubber plugs to put on the earwires, or use a different...

Sculpey Eraser Clay - one year later by
Irwin
A year ago, I asked whether anyone knew about the durability of
Sculpey Eraser Clay. I wanted to use it as the bottom of my boxes
because it is somewhat spongy rather than hard.
Well.... I never did formal testing of the material, but recently I
did find out the suitability of trhe material for my...

Ceramics - sculpture by
MaciejZabawa
Section ceramics - sculpture was made because of my need to experiment
with the arts and joining different artistic disciplines together. In
2007 I qualified in Easel Painting and I realized how many things in
the arts are close to my heart, but still not fully discovered by me.
One of them is...

OK, can't keep them a secret anymore by
Grant
I have been working a bit on some new textured beads. I'm so excited about
the technique that I can't resist showing some of the results any longer.
This is still in the preliminary stages of development, but it has major
potential. So here they are (be patient, page takes a while to...

Help me be nosey by
PenguinTrax
Prior to her surgery for a recurrence of melanoma, I joked with my MIL
that I was going to make her a polymer clay nose to wear until her
reconstruction surgery would be complete. In discussing the project
with my dear friend Diana, the uber-enabler, we decided that my MIL
deserves dozens of noses....

Pasta Machine Question by
Rachel
I have an Atlas and even though I clean the rollers with alcohol daily
and keep the machine covered with Saran wrap when not in use, I find
that sometimes when I put clay through it that I get these little
black smudges of dirt in the clay. Sometimes they are small streaks,
sometimes they look...

Another article about 3D printers by
Martha[_3_]
See my previous post. Another article on same subject. If it's possible to
"print" a 3D object in Cheese Whiz, imagine what you can do with polymer
clay, or vice versa:)

sculpeylll help please by
beady eyes
Hi,
I am doing my first piece - a pendant flower- and I have a question
that I haven't seen posted. I like making dainty flowers, the size of
real johnny jump-ups. Because the base of the flower is 1/2 " thick
and the petals are paper thin, how much time should I bake this
piece? Is this the...
