OT Humour - Written & Spoken English by
CATS
If you can pronounce correctly every word in this poem, you
will be speaking English better than 90% of the native
English speakers in the world. After trying the verses, a
Frenchman said he'd prefer six months of hard labour to
reading six lines aloud. Try them yourself.

Putting a number at the back of a polyester hockey jersey by

What should I use? Paint? If so, what kind? Thanks for your help!
I'd draw the letters on a contrasting fabric, and applique them using a
satin stitch. You can hold the letters down for stitching with
Bondaweb, or spray baste.

Question for all new Mommies by
Debbi
Does mom live in a two story house? One of the monitors comes in really
handy. Unfortunately, Matthew was unable to cry until he was 10 months old
and had his throat reconstructed. I could use the monitor if he was upstairs
(I actually had a cradle downstairs too for him) so I could hear...

supposing you had a bigger budget... by
Anne Rogers[_3_]
So, definitely getting a new sewing machine soon, looks like I had
sufficient to get something like a Janome 6600, BabyLock Quest, or
Viking Sapphire (not the top one with the thread snipper), along with
needed accessories.
We had an unexpected windfall and though I'm not planning to add it to...

Finding Snowy Bleach by
Elaine-VA
There's nothing I've found that's better than Snowy Bleach for
brightening up vintage textiles. Except that now I can't find Snowy
Bleach anywhere locally (Reston in Northern Virginia). Nor have I
been able to find it on the Internet. Can anyone help?

With school starting, vacations over, relatives gone

Right now I am working on the Pink Hug Quilt for my
friend. This is a support for when she has the

Hey guys,
I'm wondering if anyone can help me out with a question. My mom bought
this wood quilt while she was visiting Texas a while back. The name on
the back says "Detweiler" and her maiden name was Detweiler so she
wants to know more about it. The antiques dealer who sold it to her
noticed...

I recently received, and today just tried for the first time, my Bare

even really look like make-up. Thank you, all of you, who talked about...

Placement of sewing machine by
Jane MacDonald
Glacier My husband is making me a sewing table, just a piece of
countertop with a hole cut out, in which to set the sewing machine. The
problem I have with my present cabinet is that I can't sit directly in front
of the needle, but have to "lean to the left" to sew. I also find that the
needle...
