If you were going to get a Bead vanity plate......... by Beadbimbo
Hubby was asking me if I wanted a license plate with something spelled out, instead of the usual. We've been thinking of what I would want. I think we're limited to 7 letters, so Beadbimbo is out, as is Beadbmbo. The closest we could come is "Bbmbo" Here's other ideas: Beads Beadz Beadmom

OT - The Greatest Disaster the World Has Ever Known. by Kathy N-V
I'm sitting in my den, eating my breakfast of a banana and toast, reading an online newspaper. Everything is pretty normal for a winter morning he Sophie is begging for bits of banana and anything else she can scrounge, Manda leans over me and grabs a piece of toast. Bob is showering, getting...

OT How depressing by Linda2
Horrified, I am watching an infomercial for Time-Life's music collection for a 7-CD collection called "Legends." The hawkmeister for this set is none other than (sigh) Roger Daltrey, who seems to have had plastic surgery that went amiss. I am so depressed now. Linda2

Dry Hands/Fingers by Margie
I haven't been around due to a busy schedule. Usually our schedule slows down as soon as summer is over, not this year. I look at my calendar and see that almost every day has something written on it. But this isn't how it's supposed to be, I wanna bead! ;=) So every moment I get to myself,...

OT - My crazy neighborhood by Jalynne
Ok...two years ago it was a teenager building a bomb in the apartment complex last year, and tonight, the cops find a body in a house that's on the street behind us. What's next? As soon as we can, we'll be starting to look for a house to buy again. I'm getting kinda nervous living here now. For...

Female Torso: Progress Report by Amber
The only thing I see wrong with it are the breasts. They're a bit too high and round for their size. Some women do have breasts that are naturally that perky, but they're generally on the small side. But even that is a very minor complaint..had you and others not pointed it out, I may not have even...

OT-old Starlia posts-long by Stephanie
I plucked these out of Google. Her last posts sound pretty bad. I can't help but wonder if she had a breakdown of sorts. If her DH has shame about this he wouldn't exactly be wanting to tell anyone... Oct 29, 5:26 pm I had to give it up today or go to jail. I'm really bummed but I didn't give all...

OT Went to Urgent Care this morning. by ~Candace~
After another night of staying up coughing, or being with the kids as they coughed, I just couldn't handle it anymore, and I had Adam call in to work today. We all trekked down to urgent care after clearing it with the pediatrician's office, and saw the only Doc I've ever seen here for myself--he...

Not and AD but maybe off topic? Beach glass pendants. by Harry
I just did these a short while ago and wanted everyone to see them. I tumbled these myself and have a ton more but without holes. lol Just figured while my neck was on the chopping block I would see and get opinions. Daring aren't I? You can view scans he...

beadpoint question by just me
hello all - I've been reading, trying to learn a new craft. Apparently I've picked a more obscure part of beadwork or you all are not a group who practice it. I have a question or two. I've been trying to find seedbeads sized 15/0 locally. I've tried a couple shops that I thought would have a...

OT - crappy approach to a birthday by KDK
Bleh - BF and I just broke up. So I'm not a happy camper - I'm a sad and upset camper;). Well at least this happened before I moved back to Atlanta! I think I may be ready to get out to the Southeast altogether now. May be time to contemplate a move. And now back to your regularly scheduled...

Hypothetical ? for Lampwork/PolyClay/Finished Jewelry Artists by ~Candace~
Let's say you have a website. On this website, you have a gallery of availible works. Somewhere between 15 and 35 completed sets of beads or jewelry items. One day, you open your e-mail to find a message from an RCBer you know. They've just won the lottery, and are making good on their promise...

Well, it's been an interesting week to say the least. Saturday was my b-day (all of 32 even though I don't feel like it) Went out to eat (Mongolian grill, pretty good) and relaxed. Went out with DH's parents on monday to a buffet (combo anniversary, would have gone tuesday but grandma had to go...

help please. by Deirdre S.
You do sound like you need a safe place to talk out the uncertainty that goes with working for a wobbly company. Maybe just decide to prepare -definitely- for a layoff in November, since that will allow you to take steps that are in your own favor, instead of waiting for the axe to...
