humidity sensitive glaze by
Jeremy Griffiths
Hi,
I have a small commercially produced pottery ornament which has a glaze on
it that changes colour depending on the weather (presumably depending on the
humidity of the air), and am trying to find out the chemical/glaze that does
this. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.

hurricane art by
Slgraber
i assume wayne in keywest made it thru this latest hurricane...?
now, for the next one coming.....
have you tried putting out a clump of clay or something to collect shapes,
particulate, whatever, as a result of the storm passing? maybe a pile of clay
with cheese cloth over it to help hold it...

[email protected]
Hello everyone,
I've been a potter for 7 or 8 years now and have decided to get more
serious. I live in Eugene Oregon and have evolved into a face jug
artisan. I need to start getting my stuff "out there" in my region
and was wondering if someone had an idea of a gallery in Oregon
(preferably...

ringtail
Hi everyone!
I'm new to the forum and I was wondering if anyone could help me find a manual and/or parts for my kiln.
I was given a small octogon kiln several years ago and am just now in a place where I can fire it. It works, but there is a knob missing that controls high, low, etc. I would...

ID this vase or tell me if it's not been fired? by
jjs
It appears that this piece has never been fired. The surface is just a thin,
flat black. The top part has a vague bronze appearance.
Can you tell us anything about it?

Idenitifying a 'quasi' deco bust by
Richard Abrahams
Dear Pottery Buffs,
I've just bought a large (50cm high) ceramic bust of a pouting lady,
fashioned after a deco style, but it seems to be relatively modern.
There's a makers stamp inside but it's difficult to make out. The
second name appears to be 'Patterson'. I'd like to find out something
about...
