Hand care when working with batting by
Terri,
What lotion do you find that works best for you? I love the Aveeno
Intense Relief Hand Cream. Its not greasy at all, absorbs quickly, and
soaks right in. I would not slather up and then touch batting or fabric-
but its great stuff.
I think exfoliating as mentioned and finding a hand...

Rulers by
Sherry Starr
Does anyone have a favorite ruler? I'm just talking a regular ruler, not
the triangle ones, just the regular straight ruler. I have a Quickline II
by Nancy Crow that is 3 x 18. I love this ruler. It has all the markings
in black, and the ruler itself is clear. I have another one that is...

OT Mozilla? by
Karlee in Kansas
I'm thinking of downloading Mozilla because I've seen some really rave
reviews about it. If you use it can you tell me the pros/cons of it? Is it
easier to navigate than IE? How about the mail program? Does it have a
calendar feature that I could plug my schedule into?? Your opinion on
Mozilla...

Well, got to tell you all. I'm so proud of the wiff, Brenda. An envelope
came in the mail today from Harris Publications. Inside was Quilt Magazine,
Summer 2004 issue. Why is this here? What is it for?
Well, on page 90 is an article called "Jaunty Jewels." It is also
referenced on the cover...

Opinions wanted on squishie question by
Ann
Just wondering here and would like some opinions...squishie-wise
Instead of surprising someone with a squishie, would anyone be disappointed
with a small variety of say 8" (or so) squares?? I find when I have a
project in mind I buy the suggested yardage and don't usually have a lot
left over. I...

OT - Wish me luck as you wave me bye-bye..... by
Sharon Harper
Not for good but maybe for a little bit. I'm enrolled in a School Support
Officers Course which begins on Thursday for 5 days. By completing this and
the following 70 hours work experience, I will be "qualified" to work in the
administration area of local schools. After the course (if I pass!) I...

turned blonde hair and brown eyes). Whew! I am so happy that he is

An old quilt and new insights... by
MerryStahel
So, as you all know, I've been trying to finish all these projects I've had for
years. Part of my problem is that I am a great starter, but a lousy finisher
G. The other problem is that a lot of this stuff was in storage. I'd start
something, only to have it put into storage with a move, then...

Has anyone watched the new 8:30am lineup on SQ? Started today with the 900
series. The full October schedule is not on Alex's site yet, but I will
keep checking. Meantime, set the VCRs and Tivo's for 8:30am for 900 series
shows.

Featherweight wanted by
nana2b
I am looking to buy a FW. I have been watching E-Bay, lots of them there.
Any suggestions besides price? Most of them look very good as far as finish
and decals. Most state working condition and condition of cords etc. Any
suggestions are greatly appreciated.

How to deal with Scraps? by
Christina in Ok
Hay all,
since I have some free time, I started to work on my scrap fabrics which can
vary from 1" to 4" ( sometimes bigger) in width
I had most of them in plastic baggies sorted from size.
But my scrappy patterns call for light's, mediums, and darks. so I took
them all out, and sorted them that...

OT need black jelly bean expert by

I know all of you are busy right up to the edge of hysterical but please
take the time to guide me. I just must order some black jelly beans for a
sweetheart of a DSIL. Naturally, there are no jelly beans at all at the
local Swamp Feed Store. DSIL loves black jelly beans and I suspect that
there...

Sorry I apologise by
Shirley Shone
I may have committed a terrible boo-boo.
I have a sneaking feeling that I have sent a picture of a dragon fly to
Flossy to the newsgroup instead of her home address. I also have sent it
to happy dancing thread.
I am down on my knees grovelling and apologising if I have done so.
