thought someone here might enjoy looking at it. Here's a guy making
his own telescope, grinding the mirrors with a homemade machine made

Foulmouthed Craftweb rant by
David W
There is another message board, Craftweb, where I had a recent dispute
with the moderator. The moderator posted some accusations and then
didn't allow me to respond. If anyone has been in that position, you
know how frustrating that is. In fact, he reffered to this as, "a foul
mouthed rant". I...

Bending Plate Glass by
Mark Jones
Hi, weird question, can plate glass be bent slighly without a furnace?
I'm wondering about putting a slight (0.1=B0 or so) bend into the=20
centers of two pieces of 1/4" thick, 12" square plate glass. This is=20
so that the two could be pressed bowed-sides together and have a=20
slight pressure...

encaustic wax medium. The size if 20" X 24" and the glass could be from
1/4" - 1/2" thick and is supported fully from the underneath side. I've

Question On fusing by

I just got done fusing my first piece. Its ok But I have some areas where it
looks as if it did not fuse all the way. It’s together but there is a line
between the colors where the clear bottom glass can bee seen. I would assume
the solution would be to soak at fuse temp longer?
Here is my fire...

Making Stained Glass at home, help by
Lewis Lang
Hi. I would like to learn how to make stained glass at home. How much
realistically will I need to spend $$$, and what exactly will I really
need to get started? Are any of those kits worth looking at, or are
those scams? Please also suggest a good book or 2.
Thanks.
