Occasionally, folks have posted pics of their studios/work areas, and I
always enjoy seeing other people's set-ups.
Friday night, while playing around with the new camera, I got carried
away and took some of my own, just for fun.
Have a look, there are even bead pics :) This is what happens to...

Consignment :( by
Valerie2
I called the two consignment stores closest to me to see if they would
put my jewelry on consignment, and both said that they wouldn't be
interested. The first one said that they don't take beaded jewelry that
people make themselves, the other said they just wouldn't be
interested. Most of the...

Quick 'hello I'm back' :-) by
Quest Glass Studio
I tell you either I'm getting slower or time is moving
faster (personally I vote for the time/faster concept!)
because I can't believe how long it's been since I've
peeked in (or should I say PEEPed in) to say hi!
Gadzooks, I even missed PEEP season this year (oh no!)
I made a very cursory attempt...

Need Dutch spiral pattern by
roxan
I have been trying to work out a new spiral design and can't find one that I
like. I started a new one using 6lb. fireline and I can't get the tension
right. I think I will have to go back to using thread. Has anyone tried
using fireline for spirals?
Does anyone have any good Dutch spiral patterns...

AD - "Adornare" and "Nightsky" by
Dawn >^..^
Hi Y'all,
Just a quick note to let you know I listed two new auctions on Friday night.
I know, only two sets, but each set took me two days to make. Very ornately
decorated lentils. My favorite, of course, would be "Adornare" in raku and
black, but the other set I used my brand new "Leaky Pen"...

Style Question, poll about charm bracelets ?OT? by
Armand Vine
We have some box link bracelets with 10mm links.
Kerry wants to put 4 charms on each and every link.
I think that is overkill. Since these are for sale eventually, what do the
buyers/makers of charm bracelets think?
TIA

Dale Nichols, Wire Work Class? by
Jewitch
A LBS is advertising a Wire Working class with Dale Nichols for this
week-end. The class assumes a knowledge of the basics, but will do a
quick review. The project will be a pendant. The cost is $50 for four
hours.
I confess I am not familiar with Dale Nichols. Can anyone comment?
Thanks,
Jewitch

I spent an hour doing one of my favourite things this morning. I went to
the antique fair with my youngest son.
I got some beads.
First was a blue and clear crystal necklace by "Exquisite" It is really
pretty.
Then I got two vintage crystal necklaces, one a single strand and one
double strand.

Got our digital camera - beadwork to show and tell by
Marisa Cappetta
Thank goodness my sister also picked up our other one from the car hire
people!
Anyway, I did what every self-respecting newbie to the age of digital
photography does, I snapped some pics of my recent jewelry so I can be
really embarrased at the quality when I actually master the art later on
down...
