Ordering online by
chaddock
I hate it when I place an order, then realize I forgot to order the
one item I really needed!
I just place an order with Rainbows and my main reason for the order
was to get some 4mm Lt Grey Pearls. Naturally, I ordered a lot of
other things... then forgot the pearls I need! ...

OT - Rebekah's Page, Auctions and other info by
Kandice Seeber
Okay, Rachel and I have talked about this via email and have ironed out most
of the details. This is going to work mostly the same as the Carol Auctions
did (for those of you who weren't here at that time, I will explain...).
Rebekah now has a web page -...

OT -- seeing green by
BeckiBead
I now understand why people out west carry guns. It is because, at some point
in their lives, someone painted their ceiling green. I have now put three
coats of white paint on that ceiling and I am still seeing green. I am
positively homocidal. If that man who painted my ceiling green ever...

Hallowe'en: OT by
Tink
Ok. We admit it. We're Hallowe'en junkies. And this is the first time we've
lived in a real honest to goodness neighborhood where kids go trick or
treating. We both moved from the boondocks to an apartment building.
Ahhhh... Yet another benefit of having a house in an actual neighborhood!
Today...

Sooz's work by
Kalera Stratton
OK, for everyone who has been hounding Sooz for pics for the last two
years or so, I have something for you; I was the incredibly blessed
recipient of one of her bracelets, and believe me, "fabulous" doesn't
begin to describe this! "Mind-bogglingly unbelievably fabulous" is
getting closer, but...

Hey Sellers by
BeckiBead
Just a request for posting links to your stuff on Ebay (Justbeads is easier, so
ignore if you post there). I hate links to your "about me" or store pages,
unless they have pictures (like Marjean's takes you right to the store page,
which does have pictures). I just clicked on hanna somebody's...

Lampwork Signature Bead? by
Charlie
BF and I were chatting and he thinks I should have a "signature line" of
jewellery. This is a great idea from him and he also thought it would be
cool to have beads incorporated into the pieces that used "my colours" (deep
orange and purple). So, would there be any lampworkers around who would...

Information on glass dust hazards by
Kalera Stratton
I wanted to post this in its own thread, because one of the pieces of
misinformation that has been floating around in the glass world and
irking me for YEARS is that glass dust causes silicosis. This is
inaccurate and is not only unneccesarily alarmist, but also acts as a
distraction, preventing...

bead loom plans? by
Diana Curtis
I'm interested in beading on a loom. The ones I see in my price range on
ebay look tippy and limiting in what can be done on them. The wooden ones
look wonderful but they are out of my price range. Aside from the online
plans for a loom that include using a set of threaded rods does anyone know
of...

A quick question by
Steve Lamb
My mother-in-law recently opened a small bead shop in Keizer, OR (it's
next to Salem). She has been doing reasonably well but we still have
a lot of questions. There are likely also some questions we don't yet
know enough to ask.
I have followed this newsgroup for awhile now and believe...

Anklets? by
Barbara Forbes-Lyons
It's like a lobsterclaw, but it turns around so that you can have the clasp
perpendicular to attach it, then it will lay parallel afterwards to be more
comfortable. That's the best I can describe it - it's kind of like that
fishing lure thingy Arondelle used on the Goddess piece she posted...
