Taria
Ok, all this bobbin winder talk has me (along with Val) thinking. WHat
is the wackiest sewing or quilting gadget that you ever bought.
Also, what is the wackiest gadget that turned out to be really handy?

Polly Esther[_2_]
Take a break. Something here is bound to make you smile. Polly
NO PARENT LEFT BEHIND
I promise that you cannot read these and not laugh.
These are REAL notes written by PARENTS. (Spellings have been left intact.)
Most of them are funny, but some are just sad.

Just worried about her ... I noticed that she hasn't posted since last

Prayers going out to her!!! I hope she can come back SOON and that

Once in a lifetime by
Anne Rogers[_3_]
So, what's on your mental list of wanting to do some day? I mean
quilting wise! A Lone Star quilt is high up there for me, but I don't
want to do just a star, I think I'd want to combine it with applique,
I'm working on a Baltimore Album quilt by hand and realistically it's
going to take me a...

Another quilt done by
Carolyn McCarty
Finally finished the big quilt for my nephew, it needs only to be washed and
de-furred and the label attached. Dora is not happy to have lost her
favorite resting place.
I can hardly believe I got it done in time for Christmas!
Have a wonderful day, all. I am off to start the next quilt--I...

A Wonderful and Glorious Hug! by
Helen in WI[_3_]
My Dearest Friends,
I am stunned ! I never thought that I would be ever on the other end of a
hug quilt. I love making blocks for other peoples hugs and hearing about
their joy of receiving a quilt. I cried and murmured"oh, my God" about 50
times!
it is so, so beautiful and the quilting is...

What's on your (quilt-related) Christmas list? by
Julia in MN
What kind of quilt-related things are you asking for or hoping that you
get this holiday season? There isn't much that I need and I've got about
as much fabric as I have room for, but I have asked for a bunch of the
Essential Thread from Connecting Threads.

Fiberfilm/Tyvek paper by
pasa246
I am in search of a product known as "Fiberfilm", a Tyvek paper that
is heat reactive. It may also be known as Fibertex, or that may be a
similar product, I'm not sure. I can only locate it on UK and
Canadian websites. Does anyone know of a US supplier? Thanks.

Tacking/tying quilts by
Leslie & The Furbabies in MO.
I'm making five quick snuggle quilts- to be finished this week. Yikes! All
are based on 6 in. blocks- Warm Wishes, Trip Around The World, Rail Fence...
so far. I've tacked many quilts, but usually in a random pattern. These
quilts seem to be calling for something not random. Since I'm using...

Singer 99K by
Mary
I recently acquired a Singer 99K, and it is absolutely wonderful to
use! Through a variety of E-Bay sellers I have the machine, case,
manual, repair manual, and complete set of attachments, and am
delighted. For a total investment of under $100 I now have a small
machine that I can set up on my...

A gift of space for you by
Polly Esther[_2_]
Leslie and I were just talking about something nice we do for us and for the
furry faces at Christmas time. We are both 'gifted' with fabric that will
never see a quilt from our hands. Not only does this fabric occupy precious
space but it yells at us every time we reject it. If you need to...
