KJ
Has anyone installed the new IE7 version? Any problems? Any comments? I
hesitated since I'm not having any problems with 6.

My Ladies Quilt by
Kay Ahr[_2_]
Decisions, decisions!!
Last year a person I worked with gave me a chuck of fabric. She said her
brother had given it to her about 30 years ago. She finally realized she
would do nothing with it and thought I might want it.
I pre-washed them and cut them apart. I want each to have her own...

OT--- Leftover turkey ideas by
Pati C.
Since when I cook a turkey, I cook a large one there are always
leftovers. VBG
So I have some very good recipes to use turkey.
I am sure some of you have them too, so this sounds like a good time to
start compiling ideas.
Here is a favorite around the Cook house:

OT Wahoo! It is raining money! by
NightMist
I think I need to go lie down and recover.
9:00 AM DH and kiri depart on an egg and butter run.
10:15 AM DH and kiri come home and inform me that there is over $4000
cash benefit in the food stamp account. We don't get cash benefit so
I have to call and find out what is up with that.

Taking time to learn by
Sunny[_2_]
I am consumed with the need to finish work. I race through projects,
driving until I get it finally quilted, bound, labeled and -- usually
-- out the door. Or folded and put away. But I'm increasingly not too
happy with the results. I can follow many patterns. Although I don't
usually. I always...

OT Good thoughts Please by
NightMist
A friend of our in North Carolina has been having a run of ill luck.
3 pets died over the course of 2 months, and now her 14 year old
god-daughter is very ill.
The girl has had a fever since May. The local doctor kept sending her
home with antibiotics and instructions to take tylenol. Finally...

Basic Sewing Supplies For Class by
Pat in Virginia
Have you noticed that most supply lists for classes and
workshops include the 'basic sewing supplies' notation?
I like to include the following items, along with the
required fabric, thread, other project materials.

What do you do with batting scraps? I have a five year accumulation, most of
which are too small to sew together for use in batting a quilt.

Hand-Dyeing Hubby by
Mika
After looking at the Hancock hit lit that Sandy posted I was really
disappointed. Hancock's carried a line of handdye fabrics that I loved.
Anytime that DH was taking a trip where there was a Hancock's I would save
money like crazy so I could stock up. Well, the two stores within a 3-hour
drive...

Yo Yo suggestions? by
Polly Esther[_2_]
The border of Eek! Mice! from Janet Kime's 'The Border Workbook' has called
to me. The quilt will need about 50 mice which means I'm making 50 yo-yo's
for mice ears.
This isn't going very well. I'm using the strongest thread I have (I
think). Silk Kinkamee. If I try to pull the yo's...
