Sherri W.
Some time back in September I posted about a Christmas stocking I'm
working on---for myself, the last one in the family set of "Sherri-made"
stockings.
Well, after lots of business at work and RedSox baseball, I can still
report that I've finished all the actualy cross-stitching! I've still
got...

Regency House Party (PBS) by
Karen C - California
In the episode that was shown last night, the women were going to spend four
hours in the house doing needlework while the men went out doing something
else. Well, we saw the *empty* fabric in the floor hoop, and we saw the lovely
colors of silks being unfolded from their wrapping, but we did not...

Help - stain advice please! by
Pat P
I just managed to squirt a dollop of black shoe polish onto a favourite
pale grey sweatshirt - you know, the sort of stuff in a bottle with a little
sponge applicator - you twist it up from the bottom! I knew that SOMEONE on
here woulds be bound to know the cure!!!

Where have all the LNS gone? by
Maureen Miller
Can somebody tell me where all the LNS have gone? My nearest store is
20 miles from here, not a great distance, but next door would be better!
:)) I was just wondering....are there so few of us stitchers around
that there is no market for our craft? Yet it that was the case, why
has our local...

where to start stitching by
Sue Seibert
I am just getting back into embroidery after all long absence. I have
learned a lot from the group and from books are articles, but I still
have a question. In embroidery, particularly counted cross-stitch,
where do you begin? I understand you mark the middle of the piece, but
do you start at...

Hi RCTNer's!
I'm posting on behalf of my friend. She's doing a gorgeous hardanger
piece but can't find some yellow perle cotton in the color she needs. She
needs #8 perle cotton in DMC color 3078. My color card is about 10 years old -
at that time no 3078 was made into perle cotton. Does DMC...

Stamped Cross Stitch question by
Debbie B
My Sister in Law is stitching a stamped cross stitch top blanket. She
bought a down blanket to attach it to. My question is.... What would be the
best way to attach it so the stitching doesn't get ruined when washing it?
