Peter Holt

Trying to identify a vase by
ken hovanes
I was wondering if I might ask a question. I am trying to identify a
vase my wife bought (caution the images are large) and I thought
someone on this list might be able to help me out...
http://hovanes.com/vase.htm
Is the link, there are 2 images. I'm assuming it's from the 1950's or

Disaster by
Sue Roessel Dura
I made a horse on special order and it slumped against another pot so they are
glazed together - his front leg to the vase's belly. Is there any way I can
seperate them at least to save the horse! Best, Sue

Talc! by
DKat

use Talc either in our glazes or our clays (how in the world you are
supposed to find that out given the mix we have that has come and gone and
the recycling done...).
Our best glazes use Talc. What in the world can you...

Trouble with matt glaze by
[email protected]

finish ones that came out like sand paper to the touch. I made test
tiles of all the new ones I got, but in the interest of time, I simply
dipped the tile in the glaze. The came out just fine, just how the
were supposed...
