I've noticed a LOT of wholesale bead lots are being called "lines" on eBay
lately. And they always called them lines when I went to the L.A. jewelry
district, to buy from the importers directly. I always thought it was a
language thing, since those importers are all Asian, but since seeing it
called that on eBay, I've been wondering.
Hmmm...

It is funny because if you go to the Middle East, Far East or India, people
never know what a 'strand' is. And when doing shows here I consistently have
people correcting me as you do saying "they are strands not lines"

Regardless, the chips are 34" long strands/lines/drugs and they are damn
cheap.

Sounds pretty easy to me. All you have to do is remember where you ARE.
They're called "lines" there. They're called "strands" here.

It's like going to England and calling an elevator a lift. If we can do it,
why can't you?

Getting cranky does not attract customers.

And certainly chips should be cheap.

I read it in a more humorous voice, like, "whatever, but they're damn
cheap." I liked the "drugs" bit too. It struck me as funny. :)
