Hi,

I'm new to the forums .. and kinda new to quilting but i'm already hooked!
I've just finished my 4th baby quilt (Hungry Animal Alphabet by SSI) .. of
course all of them were given as gifts... and my son, now 2 is starting to
wrap himself in the one i just finished and say it's his.. so I guess it's
time to actually make one for him :)

I remember seeing (don't remember where) a Monster's Inc quilt where the
quilt had closet "doors" (flaps) that you opened and there were monsters
inside.. I like that idea very much and want to do it with like windows with
animals inside or something.. instead of the monsters.. but i really don't
know how they did it... Does anyone remember seeing this quilt and have the
pattern.. or have any other patterns or pictures of nice toddler quilts?

Thanks so much for any help or ideas.. I'm so non-creative when it comes to
design.. but pretty good at the actual piecing and quilting.

Hi Michelle,

It's called There's a Monster in My Closet. For a while it was on the
Timeless Treasure Fabric website, but it looks like they've taken it down.
It is also in Fons and Porter's Love of Quilting Sept/Oct 2003 issue. I had
thought about making it when I first saw it but got sidetracked. Good luck
in your quest.
