That's what I like about them. I never know what it's going to be
until I read it. Usually I learn some little interesting tidbit
though.

Ummm, I really was thinking we're not talking licking the entire length of a
ply- are we? Eeeew. But, as I said, yes to the end, if I need to. Generally,
Thread Heaven on entire ply - or wax - depending on thread. Damp sponge of
water on rayon.

You both mean "strand". Plies make up the strand.
I HOPE nobody is splitting a strand of floss, putting stuff on each ply
(there are two plies to floss), then twisting them back up. <huge grin>
