First of all, Seanette, Mistress of Rayon Thread, I'm working on my first
project with rayon thread and am not finding it too difficult to deal with.
The only thing is the cross stitches don't look uniform like I'm used to
with cotton floss. Is this normal, or am I doing something wrong.

I was reading through some interesting blogs today and was wondering if
anyone knows of any needlework related blogs? I think it would be
interesting to read if there was one. I would volunteer to start one, but
a.) I don't have enough time to do needlework and explore the net etc. to
write a blog on a regular basis and b) any time I do have is with a needle
in my hand. If there isn't one, maybe I'll inspire someone else to start
one. Oh, a thought just ran through my head, you know who would make a
terrific blogger - Trish, she could use it to publish her boring stories,
hmmmmm.

And, doing the happy dance, it looks like my cross stitch buddy will be town
in September. I don't think I've seen her since she got married 2 years ago.

I've been thinking of starting a needlework blog. I'll post a message if it
becomes a reality

I guess, as with many things, it is what we make of it. Perhaps those
of us on LiveJournal could stage and active push to making something of
the community. Hhmmm... I think I'll go check it out.
