I have FREE e-books that I would like to promote, in exchange for
answering specific questions. Yes, I also have e-books and videos
that I sell, but not these. Is this considered an "AD"?

Yes, most likely, particularly if you make repeated posts to foster the
"exchange." And as noted, they need to be craft-related to be on topic here.
